Custom Drupal site for our favorite musician with all of the bells and whistles.

GOALS

We have been managing Danny Barnes' website for nearly 10 years. New album with support from megastars like Dave Matthews and new management from Redlight (Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Ben Harper, many more...) required a new Drupal-based site so that multiple entities (the artist, fans, management, agents, press, promoters, etc.) could interact with the site.

RESULTS

Upon launch of the site, we didn't have our performance caching set up properly yet. Dave Matthews tweeted about the new site and, having 800,000+ followers, the site crashed for several hours as 10 new visitors were trying to access every second. Since then, performance features have been rock solid as all content pages are cached.

Danny Barnes continues to grow his audience and gets a lot of feedback through the site. He is out there playing with Dave Matthews, Robert Randolph, moe., Yonder Mountain String Band, and many others.
